What should I do if the water output from the shower head is small?

1. Check whether the tap water pressure in the user's home is lower than before. If so, you need to find the water company to check the water supply pipeline and pressure.
2. Check the condition of the valve in the pipeline connecting the shower head to the water heater. If the valve is opened too small, you need to open the water inlet valve wider.
3. If you live on a high floor and the water source pressure is low, you need to connect a booster pump in series between the water heater water supply valve and the water inlet so that there is sufficient pressure.
Otherwise, after the tap water reaches the upper level and is depressurized by the mixing valve, etc., the water output will become even smaller.
4. The diameter of the mixing valve is small, and throttling will also lead to a smaller water output. We can try using a hose to connect to the water supply valve of the water heater, or we can directly connect the nozzle hose to the hot water outlet of the water heater, and judge the quality of the water mixing valve based on the water output from the nozzle. If the mixing valve is broken, you only need to replace the mixing valve
5. Improper installation will result in low water output from the shower head, such as deformation of the rubber ring, uneven or too thin water outlet pipe joints, and unevenness between the hose and the shower head, etc. We should select the appropriate hose and shower head according to the specifications, replace the rubber ring, and reinstall the hose.
6. The nozzle is inherently deficient and has large internal resistance, resulting in small water output. At this point, you only need to replace the nozzle.
7. The shower hose is clogged and cannot discharge water. At this time, a new hose needs to be replaced. During normal use, pay attention to protecting the hose, otherwise it will easily leak or become blocked.
8. The nozzle is blocked, resulting in poor water flow. If the tap water at home is too alkaline and contains some impurities, it will easily block the shower holes. In addition, air sediment, dust, etc. will also enter the interior of the shower head through the small holes. If accumulated over a long period of time, it will also block the shower head. Improper adjustment of the shower nozzle may also lead to an increase in foreign matter and scale. In this case, it is necessary to clean the shower nozzle in time, or directly replace the shower nozzle.
